I would really love to meet someone who has made a huge change in their life and didn’t experience any type of stress or anxiousness before it happened. If that’s you, then touche´ my friend! But for the majority of us it’s just a reality of change and I am no exception to that rule! Continue reading
Only one week to go till I head OS and I’m feeling pretty excited! However, go back one week and it was a very different story. Even the most well prepared and experienced in big change can have moments of doubt. After my debacle with the house at #10, the twists and turns continued to play out and I began to feel the physical effects of feeling anxious and stressed about moving overseas. Continue reading
You know what has been bugging me since it appeared in my peripheral vision? The cost of living. I’m going out on a limb here, with the risk of sounding old (!), but I’m sure the basic cost of living has gone up. I went to the shop the other day to get some basics – milk, bread, eggs Continue reading
And it feels so good!!
Interesting, today marks the beginning of 2014 Year of the Horse and I’ve just realised that for the majority of 2013 Year of the Snake, I was blogless… which is not as uncanny as it first may seem.
The year of the Snake was all about personal transformation, keeping low to the ground, Continue reading
I was reminded indirectly the other day to Keep It Simple Sweetheart. KISS, the best word ever! I have never forgotten this acronym since someone mentioned it to me years ago. (Just for a bit of trivia I also heard on the radio that humans kiss for an average of 14 days straight during their lifetime… totally off topic, but I thought it was interesting!)
The world is such an amazing place with so many possibilities and opportunities. Butterflies pop Continue reading
We have the ability to change our lives so quickly, however we must be open to it and believe that we can. I have just read The Challenge I posted six months ago with a description of how I felt Christmas Eve last year. While reading it, I felt like I was almost reading someone elses story! I have come such a long way since then. I know it’s not quite Christmas Eve yet, but this morning I got up with no alarm, headed to the pool for a swim, leisurely picked up a few groceries on the way home and then ate breakfast on my balcony, looking out over the tree tops, listening to birds tweet. I did this! I made the choice to change my life and it’s happening. Continue reading
Brisbane and surrounding areas have witnessed the most amazing and powerful storms over the last week. Mother Nature has arrived and is wanting us to take notice. When I first laid eyes on this photograph, it instantly took my breath away. I felt my stomach tightened up and an inner knowing that this is her… Mother Nature looking down on us to let us know that transformation IS happening whether we like it or not. Continue reading
The Sacral Chakra is a very personal and sacred energy centre within the body. It can be found about 5cm below your belly button. It’s represented by the colour orange, which personally is a favourite of mine. As it falls around the womb and reproductive center of both women and men, it makes sense that this energy centre is related to relationships, family, birthing of creativity, pleasure, fun, joy, sensuality and nurturing. It all sounds so yummy! Continue reading
Over the last couple of weeks a little voice has been tapping me on the shoulder. I’m sure most of us have heard it… it’s that one where you know what it’s saying is true, but for what ever reason you ignore it because apparently there are ‘too many other things to do’. This is a common excuse used for delaying the awareness of what our inner spirit is telling us. Your inner truth will tell you simply, at first, through thought form. However, if we choose not to listen… sure enough it will turn up in your body. Continue reading
Yesterday a chicken came to my front door. This may seem usual if you live on a farm, or have chickens of your own, but I live in the inner city suburbs of Brisbane… only 7kms to the heart of the city! This chicken was so friendly, coming straight up to me and following me around the yard. Although I wasn’t sure if she was going to peck me or just stand next to my feet. Then I noticed another chicken! Two chickens in my yard! Continue reading
